Description

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy; try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choice.

Learn about underwater navigation, deep diving and three types of specialty diving that interest you. After some skill practice with me, you'll make five open water dives to help you build your confidence and skills to earn your Advanced Open Water certification. There's no exam because this course is truly about having fun and gaining experience.

The course includes five dives: a deep dive below 18m/60f, a navigation dive, and three specialty dives. Gain experience, build confidence and discover your diving abilities and more. There will be an additional cost of $150 per day past the scheduled course dates.

• Prerequisites: Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)

• Total time commitment: 2-3 days

• Minimum age: 12 years or older

• Depth: The maximum depth depends on your age, but maximum depth is up to 30 metres/100 feet

During your class consultation, I will provide you with the information you will need to be fitted for your dive gear. At the end of your class, if you love the gear you used during your certification process you can purchase that gear to start your adventure with!

*Note: Scheduling with your instructor during your consultation is important as this is a custom gear set up to ensure your gear fits you during your class and can take up to two weeks for processing. This course is also not refundable. You have one year to complete the program starting from when you pick up class materials. If additional days are needed outside of the scheduled course then there will be a $150 charge per day.
