Description

PADI Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level of the Open Water Certs.

I will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed and supportive learning environment. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad, and be a skilled and safe explorer of the underwater world.

Practice using scuba gear in a pool (or pool-like environment) until you're comfortable with your skill level and at your pace we will build you up to your certification.

  • Prerequisites: Able to swim; medically fit for diving

  • Total time commitment: 4 days

  • Minimum age: 10 years or older

  • Depth: expect shallow dives (12m/40ft), the maximum allowed depth is 18m/60ft

During your class consultation, I will provide you with the information you will need to be fitted for your dive gear. At the end of your class, if you love the gear you used during your certification process you can purchase that gear to start your adventure with!

*Note: Scheduling with your instructor during your consultation is important as this is a custom gear set up to ensure your gear fits you during your class and can take up to two weeks for processing. This course is also not refundable. You have one year to complete the program starting from when you pick up class materials.
